Sehu Khepera Ankh re-incarnated in Bronx, New York to parents of Caribbean descent. Sehu  Khepera is the spiritual leader of the Temple of Arat Sekhem/Kemetic Yoga Association. He is a disciple of Sebai Maa Muata Ashby. He has also received instruction from Swami Jyotirmayananda who is a disciple of Swami Sivananda Saraswati Maharaj. Sehu Khepera is now an independent researcher and developer of the mystic traditions of Ancient Egypt.

As the founder and developer of the Kemetic Yoga Association and the Temple of Arat Sekhem, in St. Croix United States Virgin Islands he gives spiritual teachings in the Egyptian religious philosophy. He has given over 800 discourses on ancient Egyptian religion, philosophy, mysticism and culture. He is the author of seven books on the esoteric teachings of Kemetic (Egyptian) religion and inner mysteries. The organization is used to research and disseminate the philosophic teachings and culture of olden Egyptian Civilization. He continues to teach and espouse the mystical philosophies of Ancient Egypt.

Temple of Arat Sekhem

The Kemetic Yoga Association, a non profit organization, is situated on the small island of St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands. The center and temple is located in a residential neighborhood on the western side of the island.

The Temple of Arat Sekhem is the portion of the organization which handles the religious and spiritual teachings. Arat Sekhem means (Serpent ) Goddess Power. Therefore the Temple of Arat Sekhem is the house of the Serpent Goddess, Arat. The philosophies, disciplines and practices that are transmitted to the students are all related to the Goddess Teachings of Ancient Egypt. All members of the temple are members of the Shemsu Nebedjer under the decree of Lord Khepri, as is told in the Papyrus of Ani.

The Kemetic Yoga Association portion of the organization handles the non profit aspect and serves as the functioning structure and support for the temple.

The purpose of our organization is to disseminate and propagate the essential teachings of spiritual values and spiritual life to all living beings interested in the olden mystic teachings of Ancient Africa (Nubia and Egypt); to aid in the healing of all suffering people regardless of class, sex, race or ethnicity; to teach and re-establish the ancient religion (Shemsu Nebedjer) of Kemet and to promote the harmony of all beings within the universe; to re-construct the high philosophy of ancient Egypt through the publication of books and lecture CD's and to give regular classes on the Ra Nu Pert M Heru (Egyptian Book of  Enlightenment) and the various philosophies and theologies of ancient Kemet; to promote cohesion and understanding of the mystic elements within all religions. The organization is open to all people who uphold the values of peace, non-violence, truth, cosmic harmony and purity.
